RCL Reflection forOctober 13, 2019
Not all people were made well during Jesus’ ministry, and not everyone today is cured or healed. Perhaps the hope we find is that God is completely interested in our well-being. Jesus wants us to be healed, to be made well in body, mind, and spirit. Listen, pay attention, be grateful, and trust that Jesus is restoring us to wholeness not just here on earth but for eternity. The Gratitude Attitude
Lectionary Reflection for the Twenty-First Sunday after Pentecost, Year C, October 9, 2016
If living a grateful life leads to so many positive results, why isn’t everyone hopping on the gratitude train? The story from this week’s gospel lesson can shed some light on that and lead us to the wholeness Christ offers. (Photo: Tiger Girl, Creative Commons)
